About Hilltop

Background

Hilltop Computing is a computing services company based in Richmond, Kentucky, owned by Ryan and Jodi Griggs. Hilltop began in 1995 when Ryan and Steve Griggs teamed up to create a fun and educational trivia game which they titled Trivucation. As time progressed, Hilltop has developed as a computing company, opening as a full-time service and support center in February, 2004. Since full-time operation began, Hilltop's customer base has grown rapidly to include many businesses and individuals in Richmond and surrounding areas.

Ryan Griggs

Owner

Ryan has had a passion for technology as long as he can remember.  In 1995 he founded Hilltop with Steve Griggs to pursue this passion.  He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Technology from Eastern Kentucky University, graduating summa cum laude with 4.0 GPA. Ryan has over 15 years' experience in programming, hardware, networking, and support.  Ryan is a Christian who seeks to serve God in every aspect of his life and business.  Ryan and his wife Jodi work as a team to serve Hilltop's customers and to raise their family in a godly way.

 

 

Steve Griggs

Co-founder
(May 19, 1960 - June 9, 2008)

Steve was co-founder of Hilltop Computing in 1995 along with his brother Ryan Griggs. He departed this life unexpectedly on the morning of June 9, 2008 at his home in Richmond. His loss is deeply felt by his family and all who knew him. 
Although he had moved on from Hilltop to pursue other interests, he was an integral part of our lives and our business.  We are very thankful for the blessing of the years we had with him.
